Commonwealth Senior Living Hampton is an assisted living facility in Hampton, Virginia. They’re known for providing a continuum of care in a state of the ark retirement facility.
The Challenge
On Christmas Day, their sprinkler system broke and flooded the hallway, men’s dining room, a resident’s room, and the women’s dining room. They needed to repair the damage and fix their sprinkler system as fast as possible in order to keep providing excellent services and care to their residents.

A Christmas Sprinkle
Christmas should be about showering your loved ones with gifts, not a malfunctioning sprinkler system. Unfortunately for Commonwealth Senior Living Hampton, their sprinkler system failed on Christmas Day in 2022. Luckily, they called our team who was able to repair damaged drywall, fix acoustical ceilings, rip up flooring, and get it ready for the flooring subcontractor. We also repaired and replaced damaged electrical lines and fixtures, cabinets, crown molding, base board, and door casing.
A Track Record of Staying On Track
Most contractors would take 3-5 months to complete this entire project. We did it in 1.5 months. Part of the reason Carlton Building Services is speedy in an industry where 90% of projects are over-budget and over-time is because of our internal tracking system. Using a bar chart, we regularly check and adjust project timelines to stay on budget and on time. The best news is, the entire system is internal so clients don’t have to worry about the logistics.
