Jump Trampoline Park | Virginia Beach

Client Profile

Jump Trampoline Park’s Virginia Beach location is a popular destination for children’s birthday parties, Saturday trips to a trampoline park, and family fun. Thanks to its popularity, Jump Trampoline had the budget to add a new feature for guests: a wipe-out machine, the hottest trend in 2022.

The Challenge

To install the new wipe-out machine, Jump Trampoline Parks needed to find a contractor who could remove some of the trampolines and install the new machine. Since the safety of jumpers was a priority, the contractor would have to understand regulations and how to safely install the wipe-out machine.

Searching for a Contractor

When looking for a contractor, Jump Trampoline Park needed someone who played by the rules and local regulations, but who wasn’t afraid to innovate and provide high quality work. They also were on a time crunch and wanted to finish the project in three weeks. Jump Trampoline decided to partner with the expert in delivering speedy, high quality work which follows local regulations: Carlton Building Services.

Jumping During Construction

Our team not only had three weeks to install the new machine, Jump Trampoline was still operating throughout construction. To ensure they could operate safely–and to minimize construction disruptions–we built a 30 by 30 feet enclosure around the workspace. This enclosure allowed the trampoline park to operate as business as usual. Thanks to our planning and coordination, there was no loss of revenue and we were able to increase the client’s revenue for the summer season with the addition of the new equipment.

A Smooth Hop

Our thoughtful construction process led to a smooth hop on installation. Our team planned everything out well in advance and communicated with the client and a third party (the people who made the wipe-out machine). Thanks to our robust process, all this could be accomplished during their 3 week time frame.

Raising the Platform

Once the machine was installed, our team built the platform back up using metal stud framing. We used 16 and 18 Heavy Gauge Metal, recarpetted the area, and removed the enclosure. By the time the project was done, we were on time.
